Privacy Notice

Who we are
TeslaTaxi.app is an independent prelaunch project exploring interest in independent mobility. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Tesla, Inc. No transportation service is currently operating.
Required before public launch: the legal operating entity, a privacy contact email address, and a stated retention period. These are intentionally left blank rather than invented.
What we collect
- First name
- Email address (stored in a normalized, lowercase form)
- City / State or region
- The participation type you select
- Whether you opted in to updates, plus the time and version of that consent
- A one-way hashed form of your IP address, used only to limit automated or abusive submissions
- Internal status and administrator notes we add while reviewing interest
How we use it
We use application details to evaluate interest and potential participation in a future pilot. If you opted in, we may email you launch updates or research invitations. Promotional email is optional and you can unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell your information.
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored in a private managed PostgreSQL database provided by Lovable Cloud (powered by Supabase infrastructure). The site itself is hosted on Lovable. Only authenticated administrators on an explicit allowlist can read applicant records; the records are not publicly readable.
Video embed
The video on the home page uses click-to-load. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you choose to load the player. When you do, YouTube (Google) receives your request and may set cookies under its own privacy policy; we use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie domain. We did not produce the video, and its publisher does not endorse this project.
Analytics and other tools
This first version includes no analytics, no advertising trackers, no payment processing, and no email marketing platform.
Retention
Records are kept while the prelaunch project is active. A specific retention period has not been set yet and must be defined before public launch.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your record, correction, opt-out of updates, or deletion. A contact address for these requests must be added before public launch.
